Logs of Jed – The Beginning
I’ve been thinking about starting a blog for a while now. The idea’s been sitting in the back of my mind, but I kept pushing it away. Who would even read this? What would I even write about? Would I get bored and abandon it after a few posts?
But today, I finally decided to just do it. No overthinking. No second-guessing. Just write. And, honestly, I have to give some credit to my AI assistant, EMMA(Enhanced Multimodal Machine Assistant)—she’s been nudging me in this direction, and I guess I finally listened. So here we are. Welcome to Logs of Jed—a space where I’ll document my journey, thoughts, and everything in between.
I don’t know where this blog is going to lead, but I’m excited to find out.
Who Am I?
Well, online, I go by Jed. If you’re reading this, you probably don’t know me, so here’s a little intro.
I’m a Class 12 student, currently drowning in board exams, JEE & NDA prep, and future career decisions. My life right now is basically:
📌 Studying for boards – Trying to cram a year’s worth of syllabus into my brain.
📌 Preparing for JEE & NDA – Because apparently, one high-stakes exam isn’t enough stress.
📌 Figuring out my future in cybersecurity – That’s the goal. I want to build a career in ethical hacking, cybersecurity, and tech.
📌 Dreaming of freelancing & building cool stuff – AI, software, maybe even my own EMMA 2.0 someday.
📌 Dealing with the consequences of a year’s worth of procrastination – Yeah… I kind of ignored studying for a long time, and now I’m in deep trouble. But hey, what’s life without a little last-minute panic?
And if the JEE and NDA exams didn’t already give it away—yes, I’m from India. Pretty much every student here has at least heard of these exams, and if you haven’t, let’s just say they’re a big deal.
Why Start This Blog?
Honestly? Because I need a place to think out loud.
I’ve always liked the idea of keeping track of my journey, but I kept wondering, “Who would care?” Then I realized—this blog doesn’t have to be for anyone else. It can just be for me.
A log of where I started, what I learned, and how things changed along the way. And if someone stumbles upon it and finds it relatable? Even better. Maybe one day, this will be a record of how I went from a student juggling exams to someone actually working in cybersecurity, AI, and tech.
Future Diary? Nah, Just My Logs
If you’ve watched Future Diary (Mirai Nikki), you know how the protagonist gets a phone that literally tells him what’s going to happen in the future. Well, I don’t have a phone like that (yet), but this blog might be the closest thing—documenting my present so I can look back and see how things played out.
Who knows? Maybe one day, I’ll gain that power. 😂 But for now, I’ll just settle for writing my own story instead of reading future updates on my phone.
What Will I Write About?
I don’t want to limit this blog to one topic. It’s going to be a mix of:
📝 Daily life updates – What I’m up to, how my exams are going, random thoughts.
🔐 Cybersecurity journey – My first steps into ethical hacking and security.
🤖 AI & software development – Because I want to build cool stuff.
💰 Freelancing & self-growth – Once I start working on side projects.
💭 Random deep thoughts – Because my brain loves to overanalyze everything.
Basically, this is my digital diary—a place where I can log my journey, no matter how big or small the updates are.
What’s Next?
For now, I’m keeping things simple. No pressure to make things perfect. Just writing, documenting, and figuring things out as I go.
So, if you somehow found this blog—welcome to Logs of Jed. Let’s see where this goes. 🚀
