Logs of Jed: Chapter - The Great Dehradun Escape 🚨🚌

Apology Note: Hey readers! Sorry for the two-day silence. Life decided to throw a mini anime arc my way, and I've been busy living out my very own Your Name meets Tokyo Revengers saga. Buckle up, ‘cause this one’s a ride. 🚨

March 16 - Morning Mayhem

Woke up at 8:30 AM (an impressive achievement for me 😎) and checked my WhatsApp messages. I had to leave for Dehradun today, so I stepped out of my room, drank some water, and got the day rolling.

Next mission: Garbage Duty. Bagged it up, refreshed the bins, and marched to the dumpster like a seasoned warrior. Mission accomplished. πŸ—‘️✅

Feeling victorious, I hopped on my scooty, vibing to some music for a solid hour before returning at 9:15 AM. 🎡🏍️

Packing Chronicles:

  • Outfit? Locked and loaded: Barcelona jersey, jeans, tracksuit upper, and my trusty blue running shoes. πŸ”₯
  • I showered, got ready, and by the time my little bro Charlie woke up around 11 AM, I was on sandwich duty.

Breakfast Flex: Egg-paneer-cheese sandwiches for both of us. Fuel of champions. πŸ’ͺπŸ₯ͺ

Mom woke up and hit me with the classic, "Leave early." Moms know best.

March 16 - The Cafe Chronicles

Left at 12 PM, grabbing my watch and charger. Went to my friend's house to drag him out for a cafe run, but he was in hibernation mode. πŸ’€ Six calls later, I gave up. πŸ˜’

At the cafe, I ordered a hookah (dealer’s choice for flavor) and texted my ex — let’s call her S — asking if she wanted to meet. She rolled in around 12:30 PM after giving her mom an Oscar-worthy "business meeting" excuse. 🎭

She sat across from me, and I offered her the hookah. She declined because she hadn’t eaten yet, so I offered her food. After a 5-minute "Nah, I’m good" dance, she caved and ordered cold coffee. I grabbed sandwiches ‘cause they were out of garlic bread. 🀷‍♂️

We had our usual chat — y’know, life, goals, future plans. At some point, she shifted next to me to check something on my laptop.

Then... my friend (the one I tried waking up) called.

"Bro, why’d you spam me with calls?"

"Just come here."

He pulled up in 5 minutes, saw me with S, and pulled a JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure reverse-walk move. πŸ˜‚ I pulled him back, we ordered two more hookahs, and then my friend N from Dehradun called. He was in Delhi too and wanted to travel together.

"Meet me at 6 PM," he said.

"Bro, too late," I shot back. We settled on 4:30 PM instead.

S and I stepped outside, grabbed an auto, and shared a smoke. Before parting, she tugged my ear (Naruto-style scolding, no jutsu) and told me I should’ve just said sorry earlier. πŸ˜…

I said sorry, we hugged, forehead kiss — wholesome vibes. ❤️

Sometimes you don't realize how much you miss someone until they’re walking away...

March 16 - Bus Station Drama

Reached the bus station at 4:15 PM and called N.

"Leaving in 15 minutes," he said.

An hour later... I called again. He was in the metro and somehow managed to exit through Gate No. 1 — the furthest gate from me. 🀦‍♂️

When we met, he casually mentioned, "Yeah, the police stopped me." Turns out he was carrying whiskey bottles and half a wine bottle in his bag. πŸΎπŸ˜… He called his brother to collect them — crisis averted.

We got tickets (paid ₹42 extra for UPI fees — pain), and I paid for both. N handed me ₹950 in cash later. πŸ’°

On the bus at 6 PM, I texted my mom that I had "reached Dehradun" — classic Jedi mind trick. 😎

March 16 - The Journey

N and I talked about goals, friendships, and life in general. We hit a break stop, grabbed popcorn 🍿, and continued.

I tried to grind on Minecraft but died to blazes. Felt like I was starring in Attack on Titan — one wrong move and BOOM, back to square one. 😡πŸ”₯ Imagine surviving a Dark Souls boss with 1 HP — yeah, that bad.

Reached Dehradun, grabbed an auto to Karanpur, and ended the night chilling with hookah, friends, and good vibes until 4 AM. 😴

March 17 - Recovery Mode

Woke up at 12 PM to a call from Mom asking why I hadn’t picked up last night. I blamed "network issues." One day I'll get an Oscar for these improv excuses. 🎭

Went out to the ATM, grabbed cash for a friend, and roamed around. Later helped my best friend drop some useless papers at a recycling place for cash. ♻️πŸ’΅

Wrapped up the day by roaming Reliance Supermart with K and my bestie.

Back at my room, I crashed early, mentally chanting: "Please let my UPES admission happen before the end of April." πŸ™

Why before April ends? Because I want to lock in my spot, secure my future in cybersecurity, and relocate before my parents can talk me out of it. They’re pushing for a break year and hinting at MIT-level grind, but nah — I know my game plan. UG here, PG in the US — that’s the strat. I'm speedrunning this mission like it's Elden Ring — no backtracking, no delays. πŸ’»πŸ—‘️

End of Chapter.

P.S. Manifesting UPES acceptance like I’m in My Hero Academia unlocking my ultimate move. 🀞πŸ”₯
