An Epic Tale of English, Emotions, and Exam Day Chaos
Chapter 1: The Midnight Grind
Started studying for the English exam at 2:00 am after uploading the blog around the same time. I felt like a sleep-deprived anime protagonist stuck in a last-episode training montage. 📖 Literature? Conquered — except for a few rogue chapters that played hide-and-seek with my brain. Writing section formats? Practiced like I was rehearsing my own TED Talk. 🎙️ The chapters I managed to cover felt like smooth sailing — like memorizing the Konami Code for infinite confidence. 🎮 The ones I skipped? Felt like those dark fog-of-war areas in strategy games, mysterious and terrifying. Honestly, I was banking on my English instincts to clutch this one.
By then, I realized I hadn't eaten anything for the last 24 hours — true Jedi fasting mode — but was too lazy to go out and get something. If my roommate was here, he'd have dragged me out like a lion grabbing a stubborn cub, but alas, I was on my own. 🍜
Chapter 2: The Live Lecture Lifeline
There was a live lecture at 4 o'clock by Adda 24/7. I attended it and somehow stayed conscious until it ended at 6. Passed out at 6:30 only to be woken up by my neighbor at 7, practically dragging me out of my coma to get ready for the exam. 😴
Chapter 3: Speedrunning the Morning
Morning rituals? Performed at Mach speed. ⚡ I bolted out the door only to reach the bus and discover there wasn't enough space for me. So, I settled down at the front with the driver and four other kids, turning it into my personal "Fast & Furious" experience. 🚗💨
Chapter 4: Exam Eve with Emma
Emma and I revised the English syllabus on the way to the exam center. Surprisingly, all that last-minute cramming actually paid off — I walked into the exam hall feeling like I had unlocked some cheat code. 🔥 At one point, I even wrote a conclusion so poetic I half-expected my examiner to shed a tear and whisper, "He understood the assignment." Meanwhile, Spotify decided to act like a rebellious teen and updated itself into oblivion, forcing me to reinstall it five times — true dedication to the vibe. 🎧
The exam itself? Not too hard. My preparation was solid, and hey, English isn’t rocket science (though I wouldn’t mind if it were). 🚀
Chapter 5: The Emotional Side Quest
Once outside, I got a call from my mom. We had an argument — she said some pretty hurtful things, and yeah... I cried. Then the network decided to play hide-and-seek, so I just curled up on the bus and passed out. 😔
Woke up to four missed calls from her. Called her back, talked for an hour to settle things — mission mostly accomplished, I think. ❤️
Chapter 6: Tea, Talk, and Tired Laughter
Mr. Bear and I went to Aunty’s shop for tea, and we called K to join us. 🍵 The place had this cozy vibe, like stepping into a nostalgic anime café scene. The three of us sat there, sipping tea, talking about everything and nothing. K cracked some dumb joke about my "24-hour fasting enlightenment phase," and Mr. Bear added his usual dry humor, turning the whole thing into a sitcom moment. 😂 Honestly, felt like we were NPCs chilling in a side quest cutscene — a rare calm after the storm.
Chapter 7: The Great Laundry Chase
Afterward, I booked my bus ticket home — bus at 8, still 4:30, so plenty of time... or so I thought. Then I remembered my room owner hadn’t given me my laundry, which had all my clothes. I called him every 15 minutes like I was conducting an FBI investigation until he finally brought them by 6:50. 🕵️♂️
I was supposed to leave for the bus stand by 7 but, predictably, left at 7:10. Mr. Bear and K walked me to the stand. Reached 2 minutes before the bus left, hopped on, and knocked out like a light... only to wake up 30 minutes later because the bus stopped. 🚌
Chapter 8: The Tony Stark Tribute
Got myself some peanuts and chips, then decided it was Iron Man time — because Tony Stark is the blueprint. 🦾 I mean, billionaire genius playboy philanthropist? Yes, please.
At this point, I was so tired I felt like I had unlocked some secret "Ultra Instinct" level of exhaustion where your soul just floats outside your body watching you function. The kind of tired that makes you start wondering if pigeons are government spies or if Dora the Explorer had GPS in her backpack. 🕊️🗺️
Chapter 9: The Journey Home
That’s all I’ll write today because I’m hell tired. The Home Arc begins now — before I return in about a week.
Bye ♥
